Follow the stories of academics and their research expeditions
As an online instructor, one of the most important areas in your dashboard is “My Courses.” This section contains all the courses you have created or are currently teaching. Think of it as your personal control panel for managing your teaching content and student engagement.
Here’s what you can do in My Courses:
View Your Courses: Quickly see all the courses you have published, along with details like number of enrolled students, course rating, and status (draft, published, or archived).
Edit Course Content: Update lessons, sections, or quizzes easily. Add new topics, reorganize chapters, or modify course materials anytime.
Track Enrollments and Progress: Monitor student participation, completion rates, and engagement levels to see which courses are performing well.
Manage Settings: Set course pricing, visibility, and access permissions. You can also manage promotional offers or schedule content releases.
Example: If you teach “Web Design Basics” and “Python for Beginners,” both courses will appear under My Courses. From here, you can add new lessons, check student progress, or respond to course reviews.
Why it’s Important:
The My Courses section keeps everything organized and accessible. It allows you to focus on teaching rather than getting lost in administrative tasks. With all your courses in one place, managing your online teaching career becomes much easier.
By understanding how to use My Courses effectively, you can improve your students’ learning experience while keeping your workflow smooth and efficient.
